FAQs

1. What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of women’s health conditions, including:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction (pain, leakage, prolapse)

  • Postpartum recovery and core rehabilitation

  • Diastasis recti (muscle separation)

  • Chronic pelvic, back, or hip pain

  • Painful intimacy

  • Orthopedic conditions (e.g., joint pain, post-surgical rehab)

  • Posture and alignment issues

  • Pregnancy-related pain (sciatica, pubic symphysis pain)

  • Functional movement limitations

2. Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?

In New York, you can begin physical therapy without a physician’s referral for up to 10 visits or 30 days. After that, a referral may be required.

3. Do you take insurance?

Yes! We now accept insurance. We’re in-network with select plans and also support out-of-network benefits. Not sure if you’re covered? We’re happy to verify your benefits and guide you through the process.

4. How long is each session?

Each session is 45-60 minutes long and completely one-on-one with your physical therapist in a calm, private setting.

5. What should I expect at my first visit?

We’ll review your health history, symptoms, and goals. A physical exam will follow, which may include a gentle internal pelvic floor assessment (only with your consent). We’ll then create a personalized treatment plan.

6. What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable and easy to move in, like leggings or loose-fitting pants. Drapes or gowns are available for your privacy during the assessment if needed.

7. Where are you located?

We’re located at 636 Broadway, Suite #1009, New York, NY 10012 in the NoHo neighborhood—easily accessible by multiple subway lines.

8. Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! Telehealth appointments are available for education, guided exercises, consultation, and follow-up visits when appropriate.

9. How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through our website or by scanning the QR code on our flyers and business cards. Need help? Reach out and we’ll assist you!
